“Dude, I envy the way you make the f-words sound natural in every single paragraph. Any tips?:)”
That's a message I want to tweet to a devilishly eloquent author of a book that I got a week ago.
I keep being late for work during the last 6 days because of this book.
I burn the kitchen pots with food at home because of this book.
I’m not even there for my family when at home because of this book.
Well, yeah, because the book is really worthy. It’s funny, potty and has some kick-ass motivation.
It made me scratch my head and laugh it off. Then again scratch it. It helps you solve some major issues with your life, especially useful when you are tired, unmotivated, having troubles with in-office relationships, spouse or you’re just in need of some high-quality laugh. Because the book includes tips that do work.
The guy I’m talking about is Mark Manson, and the book which might brighten up your 2-hour traffic jam, and the rest of your life is called “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck”.
Basically, the whole book can be described by this idea:
[tweet_box]Maturity is what happens when one learns to only give a fuck about what’s truly fuckworthy. #motivation #quote @iammarkmanson
[/tweet_box]You might be wondering what is fuckworthy in your life, right?
Don’t worry, the book will give you some tips to not give a fuck find your own fuckworthy things.
It worked for me, for the person who recommended me the book and for 10 903 people on Goodreads rated the book 5 out of 5.
The author himself seems to have been through a lot of shit, but, unlike many others, managed to figure out some Zen ideas out of it. Moreover, he came up with a book which makes people scratch their heads and laugh them off.
The funny thing: most of us don’t get motivated unless they are thrown. But wrap you the content into some cuss words - epiphany comes to us right away. And the author seems to understand it really well.
But for now, I’ve already understood one great thing.
Give your fucks only about fuckworthy things.
The book is here.
But before you start off to the book, I suggest you have a look at these 10 badass quotes for motivation. Those are free printables, so may use them any way you like.
Enjoy!
Wait a second. There's one more thing which is worth your attention. You may have heard of a serial entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk.
"There is no reason to do the shit you hate. Promise me you won't."
I really recommend you this. It may also change your destination - for the nearest couple hours or for a lifetime.
P.S. If you got a book, but don't have a website you're welcome to get any writer wordpress theme to build your presentational website.
