Like Nails on a Chalkboard!!! Get to Know How Lousy Your Designs Are [Take the Quiz]

Browsing the web is a significant part of my job. It takes me long hours every day. I mostly enjoy the process, but some websites madden me. I am sure I am not the only one who can’t stand certain things and abandons the fatuous resources immediately. If you are a

If you are a web designer, you might be interested to know what irritates the users in your designs. I’ll give you such possibility with the greatest pleasure. All you need to do is just take a simple quiz below.

I am sure all TemplateMonster’s designers will do the same with the greatest pleasure.

Would you like me to give some examples of design elements that are like waving a red cape at a bull for me? Ok, in fact, there is pretty much stuff like that on the net, but I can’t highlight the matter in detail in order not to disservice you right before the test as we want to get the correct results, don’t we?

Well, it may sound strange as I work at the marketing department and understand how important is advertising, but I really hate blinking and flashing advertisements. They are so distracting. When I am searching for certain information I need to scan dozens of websites. I need approximately 3 seconds to understand if the resource is useful for me or not. But what happens when I enter a website and see all these disorienting animations? Hey, guys, I am not here to play with you, I popped in for a minute to find some valuable content.

“About us” pages that don’t really tell what exactly the company is doing or tell it in an unintelligible manner also make my brain hurt. Dear bloggers/entrepreneurs, please let your site speak the way people actually speak. No business babble that is difficult to comprehend at once!

When I see some extraordinary content, it’s normal that I want to share it with my friends on social networks. But what a frustration I feel when I can’t find social sharing buttons. I don’t always have time/desire to manually copy and paste URL and compose a tweet. Please always make sure that you have sharing options on your website because that’s more beneficial for you than your visitors. Are you dreaming about better visibility, more traffic, higher search engine rankings, and more lead generation opportunities? Of course, you do!

Well, I think this introduction about what exasperates me on a website is getting too long. So, I offer you to take the ‘How Much Do Your Designs Drive the Viewers Wild Quiz’ and then discuss its results.

Are you ready to share your result with the community? Ok, let it be your secret. Just let me know if you liked the test and whether you agree with the result. Let’s also make a list of the most annoying web design/development shots in the blue at the comments section. It will be fun and useful at the same time! What can make a peaceful person like you violent? Tell us, don't be shy .

Remember, I appreciate your feedback even if it is negative and it is about us.

Please don’t forget to rate, like, and share this quiz. Your friends should also know if there is something not quite right with their designs. Take them down a peg!
