I would like to dedicate this blog post to all sons and daughters who love and cherish their mothers. I know we are grownups already, so we have much more opportunities to delight the woman who gave birth to us.
I think it’s pretty much the same for all of us in childhood. How did you greet your mom with the holiday? I made postcards with my own hands. I think they looked clumsy with all those scribbles, hand drawn flowers, and applique, but my mom took them as they were diamonds. I composed short childish rhymes and saw tears of happiness when I read it to her.
Do you have similar experience? I’m sure you do.
Time goes by so quickly. I am a blogger now. I don’t write any childish poems for my mom anymore. I just come into her house sweeping in the way I did before. I kiss and hug her, say how much I love her and care about her. I bring her favorite lily of the valley, sweets and presents. Then she brews a herbal tea and we sip this hot aroma beverage and eat the most delicious apple pie in the world cause it was baked by my mom. We can sit at her cozy kitchen for hours just chatting about different things.
I am so happy that some things didn’t change for me yet. I still have the place to escape from my crazy lifestyle, the place where I feel safe and protected. I hope most of you can also pop into your parents’ houses every now and again.
By the way, my mom is a real Internet addict. The first thing she does in the morning is checking her social media profiles, so I’m surely going to leave a hearty greeting for her there as well. I’m even thinking to buy a personal blog theme for her. It’s really easy to launch, say a WordPress recipe site having a cute quality template at hand.
Did you ever think about doing something of the kind for your mom? Even if you didn’t, you will certainly greet your mama with her “professional” holiday.
Would you like to make this year greeting really unforgettable? Look through the free stuff I have thoroughly handpicked for you below.
