Toronto, Canada

DesignTO Festival is the largest annual event for designers held in Toronto, Canada. It celebrates design in the variety of forms and encourages artistic self-expression. Within the DesignTO, one can visit 100+ exhibitions and events that altogether form Toronto’s design week. This year, DesignTO celebrates its 10th anniversary which is reflected in the schedule of events.
The official Launch Party will be the start of the 10th DesignTO Festival. Held in the historic Berkeley Church in Old Town Toronto, the perfect place to mingle with the participants and make new friends.
At the 5th annual DesignTO Symposium, a variety of topics will be discussed. Nine multidisciplinary experts will talk about the workforce and workspaces, labor market, and other thought-provoking topics.

In 2020, the members of design and architecture collective They Feed Off Buildings (TFOB), Luisa Rubisch and Rasa Weber, will talk about ‘Urban Terrazzo’. Their talks are devoted to the creation of a composite material that uses architectural debris of demolished buildings.
DesignTO has a special project for young designers - The Skatrix. The public screening of animated shorts made in collaboration with students from Oasis Skateboard Factory (OSF).
DesignTO Awards praises the prominent achievements in design and design personalities.
In retrospect, DesignTO Conference 2019, welcomed 600+ artists and designers, plus 150K+ visitors!

UXCamp DC 2020 is an unconference for design “thinkers and doers”. The program is quite intense - twenty-four 45-minute sessions and workshops are to be presented by design enthusiasts from different levels of experience - from beginners to professionals. This year, 150 participants are to partake in the unconference.

In/Visible Talks celebrates all forms of design and creativity, aiming to build a community of professionals. As the boundaries of design are perpetually evolving, the conference talks go beyond the traditional materials and guardrails.
The founders of the conference, Dava Guthmiller and Arianna Orland, have over 20 years of experience in the design industry. Since its beginning in 2008, in Oslo, the Norwegian Developers Conference (NDC), quickly became one of the largest events for .NET & Agile development. Today, NDC Conferences are 5-day events with two days of pre-conference workshops and three days of conference sessions. This year’s NDC {London} will host 108 speakers and have 114 talks and 14 workshops. Speakers from the industry leading companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, etc. will deliver their talks.
