With such an introduction I want to present you our new project, and hope that it will resonate with you. It’s a pack of free cinemagraphs, still photos with subtle motion, that you can use in your projects or blog posts, making them more emotional and appealing for the viewers.
Pick up any item you like, or the whole set of these beautiful .gifs, and they will convey the impression of your works more effectively than a usual jpg. Scroll down the post and let the magic begin.
As you know,
This mix of photo and video effects gives a stunning result - nice living pictures. Such images are .gif files, with subtle motion that is not in focus (as usual), is repeated, and thus mesmerizing for the viewer. A well-done cinemagraph is interesting to look at, ‘cause any iterative movement has a high magnetic effect.
Cinemagraphs and gifs (like the ones you can see on imgur) are not the same, the first ones feature more refined nature and more clean execution. Still, cinemagraphs show the .gif quality of files, what differs them from average photos. When a photo is shot with a good camera in high resolution, the eventual result will be a sharp image. While converting video into a .gif format (as it's done in the process of cinemagraphs creation), the files are compressed, and it affects their quality. Anyway, cinemagraphs look quite well, and easily engage the audience. That’s not strange, 'cause people are more image than text oriented, and if the visuals on the site are something more then the usual photos or illustrations, the site effectiveness is higher. You can find a bit more about the hypnotic effect of cinemagraphs and wise tips on how the bloggers can benefit from them in the previous post of this series.
To create a cinemagraph you can use either iPhone, Android apps, or camera and Photoshop. The process of creation animated photographs on smartphone is fun and easy, but if you want to get a better result, you need a good camera, Photoshop and some time. In addition to the camera that can shoot video, you should take a tripod, decide on a scene that includes continuous motion. At first you shoot a short movie clip, divide it in frames and isolate the moving element in every frame, play the sequence and save for web. This technique was used while creating the cinemagraphs you see in this post. There are a lot of tutorials on the web illustrating the process in details, and you can try any to get attractive cinemagraphs.
A bunch of chic cinemagraphs are just launched and you can be the first who read about it. It means that you will enliven your posts or other projects earlier then other bloggers, and be in pocket. What you get in this pack? 11 animated photographs (cinemagraphs) in .gif format that you’re welcome to download to your designer’s tool chest. The web-related animated images will enliven you blogs, make them more visually appealing and welcoming to the viewers. They will work great for web design, art & photography, IT, marketing business, computers-related projects and any other you want to bring an artistic feel in. Whether you illustrate your blog posts with them, or use as separate images they will work as strong attention triggers.
The idea behind these cinemagraphs is to share a moment, and a tricky mix of stills and motion elements make it possible. Implementing these animated .gifs into your blogs, you involve the viewers in the topic you're telling about, and make it easier for the user to become familiar with the content.
