Funny and Absurd Situations from Web Designer’s Lives

Hello guys! Day after day we do our best to sound pretty serious in our blog posts, but for one single time we decided to step away from this unspoken rule and write something pretty funny. Everyone likes jokes especially if those funny life situations!

We decided to speak about situations that happen in the web design community. Mostly these are stories web designers hear from their clients and tell their friends while having a beer. So, make yourself comfortable in the chair and enjoy!

• That's really interesting! Can I have a week to think over this idea? And you keep on thinking! You are good at it!
• There will be no scope statement we are welcoming creativity!
• We refuse to pay you for this logo, since it’s created the way we described it in the brief note! We imagined it that way – it means we made it!
• Can you give us 70% discount, we’ve got a low budget.
• Can you make this "yellow" more pure! I've mentioned brown and green but do not to take it literally!
• Two strips and underlining - it is not a unique design. When we confirmed options - we thought that, basing on the layout you’ll make a "creative" design and original website.
• You understand nothing! I send you a normal file, if you want to turn JPG logo into vector one, you need to poke it with a stick!
• A business card should make an impression of incompleteness and an elusive harmony of incorrectness.
• I don’t like it, letter “l” looks like roman number “ONE”...
• No! You don’t understand! We don’t need a whole online store, we need product catalogue, button “Buy” and a shopping cart. That’s it!
• Yes, this is what we spoke of, but we meant absolutely another thing.
• I thought designers work for food?! O_o
• My website design should be as if God did it.
• Would you mind if I don’t pay for the layout you create?
• Website colors refer the color scheme of the logo you need to change them ASAP!
• Do what your customer wants, but not what you want! Definitely he knows better!
• There is something wrong with the bunny! But I don’t know what exactly...something wrong with his eyes and teeth...play with them somehow... Something is definitely wrong with him, is he drunk or something? Here's my idea: Put a vest on him!
