Tips to Create People Icons
There are a great number of free sources you can create human icons in. PowerPoint is one of the most popular tools. It allows for creating modern, flat design icons by leveraging grouped shapes and color fills. - Open PowerPoint and start with adding an oval shape and filling in with the beige color to make the head of the icon.
- Copy the recently-made shape and paste it near. Click on Shape Fill and choose More Fill Colors option. Pick a darker tone of the same color.
- Go to the Shapes tab and choose the rectangle one. Position it on the vertical midpoint of the darker oval as shown below.
- Navigate to Drawing Tools > Format and select Merge Shapes. From the drop-down menu, choose Subtract. Overlay your half oval on the lighter one to create the shaded face effect.
