I truly love both of them, but let’s face it, we need to compare them and see what the pros and cons of each platform are.

Magento CMS is all about power. It may not seem very apparent once you see their dashboard, but you can be sure of one thing - it’s so powerful that it will blow your socks off.

The number of products it can handle is not limited and the number of orders that can be processed per hour exceeds 80,000. However, to encounter this kind of performance statistic, you will have to make sure that you are using the appropriate hosting plan.

Magento is like a huge and cool car that needs a lot of energy to power all its parts and gears.

The answer is short and straightforward: Prestashop is easier to customize.

Yes, it’s more friendly and gives you more hints and basic explanations on how to customize your store so that it will fit all your needs. But is it perfect for everyone?

Here is the deal; some of us are not just simple users with a general knowledge base. Some people work as developers, and some of us are just more skilled in those areas.

For those people, Magento is easy to customize and also provides more features to make the system as flexible as required. Only Magento will help you to set the discount for a certain state, city or town and only in an example where this product has been bought less than 10 times already.
